Privacy Policy
This explains what information we collect, why, and what we do—and don’t do—with it. It’s written to be read, not to hide behind. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we’ll give you a straight answer.
Who we are
Opsurant is an operations platform for property management companies. The service is operated by Main St Holding I LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as “Opsurant” out of San Diego, California. The Opsurant intellectual property is owned by its affiliate, Bridging Main LLC. In this policy, “Opsurant,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that operating entity.
We’re an early-stage company, and we say so plainly—on our Trust & security page and here. This policy reflects how we actually operate today, not a template describing a company we aren’t yet.
What this covers
This policy covers two things:
- This website (opsurant.com)—the pages you’re reading now, including the demo and the contact form.
- The Opsurant product—the application our customers sign in to use.
Throughout, we draw a hard line between two kinds of data, because we treat them very differently:
- Personal information—details about a person, such as the name and email a prospect sends through our contact form, or the login details of a user at a customer company. This policy governs how we handle it.
- Your operational data—the policies, procedures, portfolio information, and conversations that a customer puts into the product. This belongs to the customer, is isolated per customer, and is governed by our agreement with that customer and by the commitments in the section below.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a demo or contact us, we collect what you type into the form—typically your name, work email, company, role, portfolio size, and whatever you tell us about your operation. When your company becomes a customer, we collect the account details needed to set up and support your users (names, work emails, roles).
Information collected automatically. Like almost every website and web application, our servers keep standard technical logs when you visit—things like your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and timestamps. We use these to keep the service running, secure, and debuggable. This website does not run advertising networks or third-party analytics trackers on you.
We do not buy personal information about you from data brokers, and we don’t try to build a profile of you across other sites.
How we use it
We use the personal information above only to:
- Respond to your demo request or question, and send you a price quote when you ask for one;
- Set up, run, secure, and support your account if your company becomes a customer;
- Communicate with you about the service—important account, security, and billing notices, and occasional updates you can opt out of;
- Keep the service safe and working—preventing abuse, diagnosing problems, and meeting our legal obligations.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Your operational data
The data a property management company puts into Opsurant—its knowledge library, its portfolio information, its own history in the product—gets the strongest handling we offer. In plain terms:
- It stays isolated. Each customer’s data is separated from every other customer’s. Isolation is built into the system, not a setting someone can switch off.
- We don’t sell it. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- We don’t train public AI models on it. Your policies, numbers, and conversations don’t become training data that another account could benefit from.
- We don’t go looking around. Access is limited to what running and supporting the service actually requires—for a real support reason, not curiosity.
- You can take it with you. If you leave, you leave with a complete export in standard, usable formats.
These commitments are described in more depth, with how they’re enforced, on the Trust & security page.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we don’t share it for anyone else’s marketing. We do rely on a small number of vetted service providers to run the business—each handles data only as needed to provide its service to us, under its own terms. Today those include:
- DigitalOcean—cloud hosting and infrastructure for the website and product.
- Anthropic—the AI model provider that powers the product’s assistant and briefing features. Content sent to the model to answer a question is processed under Anthropic’s commercial terms and is not used to train its public models.
- Microsoft 365—our business email.
- Formspree—delivery of the messages you submit through this website’s contact form.
This list can change as the business grows; we’ll keep it current. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the safety and rights of people or the service, or in connection with a business transfer—in which case your information would remain subject to protections at least as strong as these.
Cookies & tracking
This website uses no advertising or analytics cookies—the contact form works with plain HTML and doesn’t need them. The product uses an essential cookie to keep you signed in securely; without it, sign-in can’t work. We don’t use cookies to follow you around the web.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we have a reason to—to answer your inquiry, to run your account while you’re a customer, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations. Operational data is retained per our agreement with the customer; on termination, we provide an export and then delete it on the schedule that agreement sets.
How we protect it
We take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect information—encryption in transit, tenant isolation, and access limited to what running the service requires. No system is perfectly secure, and we won’t claim otherwise. We describe our approach, and answer security teams’ specific questions in writing, on the Trust & security page—including the plain fact that we don’t hold formal security certifications yet.
Your choices & rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can opt out of non-essential email at any time. For operational data held on behalf of a customer, we act on that customer’s instructions—if you’re a user at a customer company, direct requests about that data to your own administrator, and we’ll support them. To make a request, email support@opsurant.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
California residents
We’re based in California and we don’t sell or “share” personal information as those terms are used under California privacy law. California residents may request access to, or deletion of, their personal information, and won’t be treated differently for exercising those rights. Use the contact below and we’ll handle it.
Children
Opsurant is a business tool, not intended for or directed to children. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes affecting customers, give notice through the product or by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
